This is my first drawing to really have an extensive use of color and a theme. The first three colors I used just so happened to be green, gold, and red so I decided to go with a Rasta theme. The symbol in the middle represents peace and love. The title is from Bob Marley's song of the same name. I went with one of his songs because he's the most well known Rastafarian and an amazing musician.
My gold pen died so that's why the bottom half only has red and green. My scanner kind of lightened the colors too. The green is really a little darker and then gold has glitter in it so it sparkles. The heart/peace sign and Exodus are colored with colored pencils and outlined in black.
Red is for the blood of all living things in the world. Gold is for the sun and Jah's light that shine on people. Green is for the earth that people walk on. Black is for the skin of Africa's people. (taken from Wikipedia)
When is enough enough... What difference does it make when popular artist vent vent vent and support a site that tolerates deviant behaviour. HA! no wonder its all in a name.

Your Darkest Dreams is a monthly feature devoted to sharing dark photography works from DeviantArt. Often misunderstood as "morbid" or "depressing", Your Darkest Dreams seeks to show this kind of photography in a new way: by showcasing art that is thought provoking, but at the same time unabashedly displays the beauty in darkness.
I can't believe so many artists dedicate their efforts and time to create authentic works of art for us to USE freely! In the world of 3D stocks [ most of it unknown to the photomanipulators ] you can find truly inspiring fantasy and surreal elements that could never be captured by a regular camera. And the best part is that most of them come in a transparent background, so we can simply click and drag onto our work. How fun, fast and easy is that?
